Join Duran Martinez as he broadcasts live, Saturday June 7th from Gander Mountain in Lansing with Sister Station, WMMQ, for their once a year, gigantic bow event! Over one hundred of our favorite vendors will be on hand like Monster Plots and Martin Archery. See the newest equipment first this weekend.
Ingham County Pheasants Forever and MYHEC (Michigan Youth Hunter Education Challenge) are sponsoring a free Hunter's Safety Course.
The course will be held June 14th -15th .
At the Ingham County Conservation District, 1031 West Dexter Trail, Mason.
Class will run from 08:00 in the morning until 03:00 in the afternoon.
The course is free, breakfast snack and lunch are provided by Pheasants Forever and MYHEC. The course will include classroom time, practical field exercises, and firearms handling. Test will be taken by the students on Sunday and graded by the instructors. Following successful completion of the course students will be given their Hunter's Safety Certificates.
All firearms and ammunition will be provided by and under the control of the class instructors. Do not bring personal firearms or ammunition to the course. We ask that parents or guardians of those students 9 years or younger attend the course with the child. We encourage all parents to spend all or part of the day at the course.

RUSSIAN BOAR HUNT WITH DURAN AT SUNRIZE ACRES

on Sunday August 10, 2008.
Roam the very land that Ted Nugent calls his Michigan home during an all day hunt for the exotic and dangerous Russian boar.
This hunt of a lifetime will have limited space, so make sure that you get your reservation in now.
For just $575.00 you will have the opportunity to harvest your choice of a Russian boar or exotic sheep.
Your choice of hunting with a bow or a gun will be allowed.
The day will start with a morning hunt from tree stands or blinds. The afternoon will be a spot and stalk hunt to ensure a filled tag. In the event you do not fill your tag, the fine folks at Sunrize Acres will reschedule your hunt at a later date for another opportunity. (See rule for complete info).
