Lifelong Michigan resident and avid outdoorsman, Duran Martinez, brings his love of hunting and fishing to the radio with a passion. “Giving the listener’s the chance to hear and talk to the people that are in the experts in their field via the radio is very unique in and of itself. You can’t do that with the outdoor television shows. That’s why I love doing this show so much. Michigan is a very “hands on” state and I wanted the same for an outdoors radio program.” Duran has been a fixture in Lansing radio for many years. Aside from AM Outdoors, Duran can be found on sister station Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ, and with country sister station WITL reporting NASCAR races in the summer. “My goal is to bring this little show to other markets in the state and maybe spark interest in more people to get more families out and be a part of all that Michigan has to offer them.”
